This is what happens when jam sessions turn into art revolutions

It all started with a few late-night jam sessions in a small home studio. What began as Giorgi Kvirkvelia’s personal experiment with sound slowly grew into something much bigger - a space where music, visuals, and emotion collide. That space is STATION 7.

Today, STATION 7 unites producers, vocalists, and visual artists dedicated to exploring sound, form, and emotion. Collaboration and experimentation define the project, bringing together diverse creative voices under one project vision.

Their debut album, IOVELI, takes listeners on a journey through 11 compositions that blend elements from various genres. Each track carries the personal imprint of its creators while forming a cohesive emotional narrative - introspective yet dynamic, abstract yet profoundly human.

The collective consists of seven members:

Giorgi Kvirkvelia - Producer, Bass, Guitar, Keyboard

Tatia Tabatadze - Lyrics, Vocals, Keyboard

Esso Jghamadze - Lyrics, Vocals

Jambakur Bakradze - Lyrics, Vocals

Sopiko Gvimradze - Lyrics, Vocals

Sopho Koberidze - Keyboard

Memotech - Guitar

Interview with SEQTA

,,It’s a huge privilege to do what I love and share it with so many amazing people. I never take it for granted. What stays is a peaceful emptiness-like a reset”

seqta is Berlin-based Georgian producer and DJ

blending early 2000s progressive trance and techno, and acid house into deep, emotional, and high-energy journeys filled with driving rhythms and seductive, psychedelic grooves

For DJ Seqta, music has never been just sound - it’s a language, a way of connecting with people without saying a word.

That word connect keeps surfacing in his story. For Seqta, it’s a state of consciousness - a moment when thought dissolves and everything else follows. “There’s a moment when it all clicks-I stop thinking and just flow. It becomes pure energy and emotion, and all anxiety disappears.”

When we asked where he feels most comfortable playing, Seqta doesn’t hesitate: “Definitely Bassiani, Horoom. Especially during long 9-10 hour closings. That’s where I fully connect-with the crowd, the sound, and myself.”

It wasn’t always this way. the soundtrack of his life was hip hop and post-punk, until one night ,,Underworld – Dark & Long (Dark Train). First heard it in Trainspotting-it took me from hip hop and post-punk straight into the rave.”

Outside the club, Seqta trades the flashing lights for mountain silence. There’s no single favourite spot in Georgia for him - he prefers “exploring the unknown corners”. He talks about Svaneti with a reverence that sounds almost spiritual: “It’s unreal.”

Behind the decks, he’s all instinct. But behind that calm focus is a mind shaped by history. “I’m a full-on history nerd,” he admits. He studied it at university, and it still fuels how he sees the world. You sense it in his sets - the patience, the structure, the story unfolding in layers.

That “reset” might be the truest form of freedom he’s found. Because, as he’s learned, the scene’s wildness comes with lessons. “Hedonism isn’t freedom,” he says quietly. “I used to romanticise the wild side of the scene, chasing intensity and losing control. But it’s easy to drift too far. Real freedom is knowing who you are beneath it all.”

When the last track fades and the crowd disperses, silence replaces sound. For Seqta, that silence isn’t emptiness - it’s renewal. “Always gratitude. It’s a huge privilege to do what I love and share it with so many amazing people. What stays is a peaceful emptiness-like a reset.”
